Drop boxes are available for forage, feed, water and manure samples. In addition to the drop box at the Zumbrota Forage Lab (Zumbrota, MN), there is a drop box at Plainview Milk Products, Plainview, MN.
Samples left at the Zumbrota Forage lab are picked up throughout the day Monday through Friday. Samples left at the Plainview, MN location will be picked up when the lab is notified of samples being dropped off. There is no pickup on holidays when the lab is not in operation. See HERE for a list of holiday closings.
All samples are taken to our Zumbrota, MN lab for processing. There is a $4.50 per sample handling fee for utilizing a drop box.
USING THE DROP BOX
When dropping off samples, please send a text message to the number on the top of the drop box with the location, account name or number, and number of samples dropped. This information will assist us in planning the pick-up on any given day.
Sample bags and testing information are available at each drop location. Supplies may also be requested by emailing mail@foragelab.com.
Please be respectful of the businesses that have given permission for us to place drop boxes at their locations. Thank them for that privilege if you have opportunity.
