A drop box is available at the Lowville Coop Hardware Store for forage, feed, water and manure samples.
Samples left at this locations are picked up until 3:00 PM Monday through Friday. There is no pickup on holidays when the lab is not in operation. See HERE for a list of holiday closings.
All samples are taken to our Batavia, NY lab for processing. For Central NY, refer to our corresponding drop box locations listings.
USING THE DROP BOX
When dropping off samples, please send a text message to the number on the top of the drop box (844-406-1604) with the location (Lowville, NY), account name or number, and number of samples dropped. Be advised while it is not likely, it is possible that pick up could be delayed if Lowville Coop is closed or UPS is behind schedule as a result of exceptional circumstances (winter storms, etc.).
Results for NIR analysis should be available the next business day, following drop off. Sample bags and testing information is available at each drop location. Supplies may also be requested by emailing mail@foragelab.com.
Please be respectful of the businesses that have given permission for us to place drop boxes at their locations. Thank them for that privilege if you have opportunity.
